Privacy

Overview

PendSoft creates personal finance, business, and project management software designed to work primarily on your device. Your data belongs to you.

PendSoft does not sell personal data, does not include advertising, and does not use marketing trackers or profiling technologies.

Data you create

PendSoft products store the information you enter into the apps, such as financial records, business activity, project details, and app settings.

This data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure app storage. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account so it can sync across your devices.

PendSoft does not have access to this data. It is not transmitted to PendSoft servers or third parties.

What is not collected

PendSoft products do not:

• Access or store bank login credentials
• Connect directly to your bank accounts
• Collect location data, contacts, photos, or media
• Track you across apps or websites
• Sell or share personal data for advertising or marketing

iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored using Apple’s CloudKit in your private iCloud container. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

PendSoft cannot read, access, or modify your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time, which will keep your data stored locally on your device.

Analytics

Some PendSoft products use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how features are used and to improve the software.

TelemetryDeck does not collect personal data, does not track users across apps or devices, and does not receive any financial, business, or project data.

Only anonymous, non-identifiable usage signals are collected, such as app opens or screen views. TelemetryDeck respects Apple’s system-level privacy settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Some PendSoft products use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and restore purchases.

RevenueCat processes an anonymous, app-specific identifier and subscription status only. It does not receive any data you enter into the apps.

PDFs and exports

When you generate reports, invoices, or PDFs, these files are created locally on your device. You choose where to save or share them. PendSoft does not receive copies of exported files.

Data retention

Your data remains on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account until you delete it or remove the app.

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Any data stored in iCloud remains in your iCloud account until you remove it manually.

Children’s privacy

PendSoft products are not intended for children under 16 and do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as PendSoft products evolve. Any significant changes will be reflected on this page.
